I am a Christian wife and mother of 2. I am the mother of two adult children. My husband is a full time Pastor. I also work full time outside of the home. Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” And for this season of our lives, I have to work. A couple of years ago I asked God for a job using me to serve others and that is exactly what He did. Not in the way I expected, but I am serving! This blog is a way for me to share devotions, whatever the Lord lays on my heart. It is an avenue for me fulfill something I feel the Lord leading me in, which is writing. I am currently working on a book as well!

Pray for Rain

This spoke volumes to me this morning!  I’ve been praying for people that I know need the Lord.  I have many on my heart that I believe God could use in a mighty way if they would just surrender it all to Him.  I’ve seen it happen with other people and I just know what God can do! I know what He has done for me!

Sometimes when we pray, we don’t really believe that anything is going to happen. We just say a prayer and keep going on as normal. Not really believing any change is going to take place. But, when we pray believing…..  That is when the magic happens!

And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.” Mark 1:22-23

I believe that God is going to move mountains!  We are going to see people turn to God that we never thought would!  I have been feeling in my heart for several months that God is moving and people are accepting and allowing Him to move in their lives more and more.  Small changes have been happening.  I’ve been praying for a downpour!  And I am feeling today like I better get my umbrella ready!
